On a website you can't buy from.
1688 is where Chinese businesses buy — same factories, same goods, domestic prices. You're paying for English and export paperwork, not for a better product.
I'm a marketplace seller based in Guangzhou. I have a licensed Chinese trading company, a corporate RMB account and customs registration. I buy where you can't, and ship it to you.

Your assumption, not my promise — but the slider only goes as far as I think is honest: up to 40% under $10 a unit, up to 20% above it. The actual figure for your supplier comes from the free check below, with both listings side by side.
One shipment I exported under my own company
None of them are about price. All of them are about access.
The whole platform is in Chinese, and so is every supplier chat. Machine translation gets you about 70% — and fails exactly where it matters, in negotiation.
Alipay and Chinese bank transfers only. Your card doesn't work. Your wire doesn't arrive.
Suppliers ship domestically. Their job ends at a Chinese courier. Export documents, consolidation and freight are yours to solve.
Trade Assurance doesn't exist on 1688. If something goes wrong, the dispute happens in Chinese.
MOQs are written for Chinese resellers, not for a foreign buyer testing a product for the first time.
Customs-registered exporter of record, RMB corporate account, and a car that reaches Dongguan in an hour.
Send me any supplier link. I'll pull their record from the Chinese government registry and tell you whether they manufacture or resell — free, within 24 hours.
Try it →Start at the top. Most people do.
I find your supplier's domestic listing and show you the real price.
Who your supplier actually is: Chinese government registry record, company ID, registered capital, licensed business scope, whether they manufacture or resell, 1688 presence and price, red flags.
3–5 verified factories for your product, with quotes, MOQs and samples arranged.
I drive to the plant. Photos, video walkthrough, and a live call from the floor before you pay a deposit.
Checked and documented before you release the balance.
Sourcing, samples, negotiation, quality control, payment and export — the whole first run.
I buy under my company, pay your supplier in RMB, and export under my own customs registration.
Continuous sourcing and supplier management for a growing catalogue.
No hidden margin. The factory invoice goes to you exactly as issued. My only income is the fee we agree in writing before the work starts.
All prices above are for my service only and exclude the goods, freight, duties and taxes. Every quote is confirmed in writing before anything starts.
Everything on this page can be checked. Here is where you start.
Unified Social Credit Code 91440106MAK4D1KN6Y. Type it into the Chinese national enterprise registry and you will see the same company, the same date, the same registered capital. That is the exact check I run on your suppliers.
Registry record, licensed business scope, the words that decide whether they manufacture or resell, the same product on 1688 with the price, and a flag list. Two days, $89. The company in this sample is fictional, used to show the format — yours has your real supplier in it.
Guangzhou Mai Su La Import & Export Co., Ltd. Verifiable in the Chinese national enterprise registry — the same registry I check your suppliers in. You'll see it was registered in December 2025 with RMB 10,000 of capital. Both are normal for a trading company: I own no plant and no machines. If I claimed to run a factory on that capital, you should walk away.
China dropped the separate export-operator registration at the end of 2022 — what matters now is being registered with customs. I am, and I'm the exporter of record on my own declarations. That is what lets you buy from a factory that has no practical way to export on its own — which is a large part of 1688.
I pay your supplier in RMB, domestically, the way Chinese buyers do. No wire that never arrives.
Guangzhou. I can be standing in a factory in Dongguan tomorrow morning, with a phone camera on.
I run my own brand on marketplaces and import for it myself. I know what a broken MOQ, a late shipment or a bad first batch actually costs — most agents have never sold anything.
In writing. It is clearer, it is faster across time zones, and every spec, price and promise from the factory stays on record where you can re-read it. Calls on request, with an interpreter. I am not Chinese — I am a foreigner who moved here and learned this system from the inside, which is exactly why I read it the way you would.
Send a link to your product on Alibaba, or your supplier's name. Within 24 hours I'll tell you:
No account. No call. No commitment.
